Less planning and doing where your path leads you. Let coincidence come into your life and live your own dreams. Based on these thoughts and feelings I (Ed Smit) started Edventure in 2005.
But Edventure is more than the feeling of freedom. Edventure is also a platform for local tourism projects in Central America, which offer something genuinely new. A hip hop demonstration in Guatemala City, discovering rural Nicaragua with Jimmy the Man from Granada or a visit to the local artists' colony on the islands of Solentiname in Lake Nicaragua. These are only some of the tours we offer besides our packages which are themed Tropical Beach or Wild Nature.
Edventure has developed into a touroperator which directly buys and sells to its customers. Edventure can therefore offer much cheaper packages and even complete holidays than any other touroperator using local agents. Another advantage is that we live where you come on holiday, we know our destinations from personal travel experience and we speak your language. Therefore, if you need us during your travels, we're only a phone call or email away in Costa Rica!
Edventure is a Costarican touroperator with Dutch management. We therefore logically offer you the same international travel guarantees as companies in the Netherlands would do.
