Rancho Burica is the ultimate beachside jungle post, bought some 10 years ago by 21 surfing Dutch friends. When you arrive here ultimate relaxation is the key word, even if you the active type and desperate to try surfing on one of the longest left-breaking waves in the world!

Stay

As said Rancho Burica is the place to relax and you’ll find yourself staying in a basic, but comfortable cabina right at the beach. After your morning dive, meet your fellow travelers for a typical Tico (Costa Rican) breakfast in the communal dining area. At the Rancho you won’t find television, internet, fax or computer, but excellent company and equally good food make you almost don’t want to leave again….

Activities

Walk from your cabina onto the beach and see the sun rise, explore the nearby jungle and climb to the impressive look out point up on the hill, relax in a hammock with a book from the Rancho library, visit the nearby Indian communities, go snorkeling or climb on your surf board and try that long left-breaking wave…..
