Along the Pacific coast of Costa Rica you can find a true surfers paradise. In Playa Hermosa, the world surfing championships was organized in the summer of 2009 and Jaco is Costa Rican most famous seaside resort, famous for its waves. If you are not surfing or a beach lover you can visit the nearby Carara National Park, famous for its population of scarlet macaws.

Villa Las Caletas is a beautiful hotel located on a hill with spectacular views over the Pacific. Enjoy the culinary delights in one of the restaurants, relax alongside the pool or take a refreshing dive in the ocean from the hotel’s private beach.

Activities
In the high season Jaco is a busy seaside resort. Learning to surf is almost a must. Would you rather avoid the crowds, drive to the ‘beautiful beach’ Playa Hermosa where the beaches are more quiet and really stunning.
For nature and bird lovers we recommend a visit to the Carara National Park. You can spot the scarlet macaw and many other birds.
